Progress Check

I've now got 10 chapters down, as well as the prologue. 110 pages - more than a third of the way to my goal. I'm very satisfied with the progress I've been making lately.

PROGRESS CHECK

As of today, I have six chapters completed, but have decided to add a prologue, per someone else's advice. That person was correct; I needed something more exciting to draw the reader in at the very beginning.

My ultimate goal is to reach at least 300 pages. I have 77 pages done so far, so I'm about a quarter of the way to my goal. I did a chapter-by-chapter outline of the whole story, which has helped a lot. I don't get hung up on where to go next, like I have so often in the past when I've tried to start books. At the rate I've been going lately, making it to 300 pages doesn't seem like it will be difficult. The main obstacle for me will be time.

COVER ART

Here is the beautiful cover image drawn and colored by Grant Gould, my brother. Basic character designs were done by me, but Grant fleshed them out and made them come to life in this awesome piece. It was exactly what I hoped for.
